Recipe for Dog Treats

Ruffies Muffies

1 lb raw beef liver (a few ounces more or less is okay)

1 cup white or yellow corn meal

1 cup all purpose flour

3 raw eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt

Garlic - fresh or dry - as much as you can stand to work with.

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Generously grease miniature muffin pans. Using a food processor or grinder, process/gring the liver.

Add the garlic and process/grind again. Stir in eggs, cornmeal, flour and salt. Mix well. Pour into prepared muffin pans.

Bake at 325 degrees, check at 25 minutes by inserting a knife blade in the center; if done, the knife will come out clean. If not done, recheck every 5 minutes or so. Cool completely, remove from pan.

Place in ziplock bag in freezer, or will keep for several days in refrigerator. Enjoy - Arf!!
