Robert Balin

Betsyross delivers fifty-six consecutive kisses to Bob. Somebody call The Guinness Book of World Records!
Although the saying goes "Dogs are a man's best friend", in the case of Robert Balin, the man was a dog's best friend. He cared for the newborn Westies and the adults, too.
Maya was his particular favorite, and at the end of a long, hard day, she would join him for cocktails (her's were nonalcoholic) and hors d'oeuvres.
The photograph on the left is of Bob and Betsyross (Maya's daughter). It is representative of the joy and affection that was shared in a lifetime of loving dogs.
Bob is missed and will always be remembered as a gentle man and compassionate caregiver to the Balinbrae Westie family. He was a member of Valley Of The Sun West Highland White Terrier Club and Sun Country Terrier Club. Bob was a beloved Husband, Dad, and Best Friend.
We love and miss him very much.
